3-nmc or 3-mc Motorcycle, scooter, moped, noped | Permits licensing of two or three wheeled vehicles that have been classified as a motorcycle and designed to be operated on streets and highways. |
3-noh or 3-ohv Off-highway vehicle | Permits licensing of non-street legal motor bikes/vehicles designed for cross-country travel on land, water, snow, ice, marsh or swampland or other natural terrain. |
3-ord | Permits licensing of vehicles to transport the registered owner’s own goods on a commercial basis within Alberta. |
3-ordp | Permits licensing of vehicles that operate within Alberta and at least one other jurisdiction and transport the registered owner’s own goods on a commercial basis. |
3-tlr | Permits licensing of trailers that transport the registered owners own goods on a commercial basis. |
3-tow | A 3-tow plate is placed on a vehicle that is being towed for the purpose of saving on drivers and/or fuel. The registered owner of the towing vehicle must own the vehicle(s) being towed. |
3-dsbl | Permits licensing of vehicles for any individual that meets the established eligibility requirements for the disabled program. |
